Project Brief

As a user of The Mythical Society app, I noticed the app architecture had some things that made the user experience cumbersome.

I was learning more about building design systems in Figma and decided to work on a redesign of the application to help make my learnings stick.

Audit Breakdown

Understanding what content was available in the application to begin sorting and regrouping for the redesign was essential.

The core problem of the application is its news feed user experience which forces the user to scroll infinitely to find something they want to watch or listen to. While this allows the user to “semper curiosus” throughout the application, it makes it very difficult to find specific items like quarterly perks, discount codes, and forms.
